About - Reality House

Since 1967, the staff of Reality House has upheld its mission to partner with individuals and families with addiction and related challenges to help them achieve freedom from their addictions and live healthy, productive lives in the community.

Located in two state-of-the-art buildings in Astoria, compassionate professionals provide person-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-based programs to men and women who are seeking to break free from addiction.

A Continuum of Care

Reality House operates a reintegration residential treatment program and a medically supervised outpatient chemical dependency treatment program to facilitate the adoption of healthy, productive, and self-directed living in the community. This pairing allows for a continuum of care for clients as they gain self-sufficiency. The outpatient program serves constituents from all five boroughs and the greater metropolitan area.

As addiction impacts many areas of a person’s life, Reality House takes a holistic approach to give an individual the best chance to achieve lasting recovery. We offer many supportive services to complement the therapeutic services associated with our treatment programs.

Reality House is accredited by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).
