Outpatient Substance Use Treatment Program

Reality House has a range of outpatient substance use treatment programs that can assist individuals in becoming drug and alcohol free. Located in Astoria, Queens, our comprehensive program provides medically-assisted treatment as well as group and individual counseling, primary medical care, psychiatric and vocational rehabilitation services. Our Outpatient Chemical Dependency Programs provide counseling and medical services for individuals with a range of substance use disorders, including alcohol, cocaine, marijuana, benzodiazepines, PCP and all other drugs of addiction and are appropriate for adults ages 18 or over.

Residential Rehabilitation / Reintegration Program

Reality House’s residential services provide people with substance use disorders a safe living environment with support for a successful recovery. Our stable, 24-hour supervised housing treatment program offers clients individualized education and guidance with activities of daily living, counseling and vocational education services. Career development occurs through work readiness programs. Therapeutic environments are strength-based and client-centered and include staff from multi-disciplinary backgrounds. Family involvement is strongly encouraged.

An array of supportive services contributes to our clients’ success in breaking the bonds of addiction and integrating safely and successfully into the community. Our culturally competent, multi-lingual staff address many co-occurring needs that challenge our clients on their path to recovery.
