Michael Cannaday

Michael Cannaday is the Executive Director of Reality House, Inc. and has been on the frontlines of the fight against drug and alcohol addiction for over 15 years. His professional career began on the clinical side as a CASAC counselor. He has since held progressive leadership roles in various treatment modalities including inpatient detox/rehab services, outpatient and residential services and alternative to incarceration programs. He is an expert in complex drug regulatory affairs and has a proven track record for driving organizational mission and goals towards fiscally responsible patient-centered outcomes.  

In 2022, Mr. Cannaday was honored by the prestigious National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence for outstanding contributions in helping individuals and families with substance use disorders improve well-being. 

Mr. Cannaday received both his MBA and MPA from Metropolitan College of New York with a specialty in Health Care Risk Management. His clinical experience, extensive knowledge of regulatory and grant funded programs, licensure and educational achievements compliment his commitment to providing the highest level of quality care while embracing cultural competency and diversity.
